Nershi plays Pete Seeger 90th Bday at MSGBill joined a star-studded line-up at Madison Square Garden on May 2, 2009 to celebrate folk musician and environmental activist Pete Seeger's 90th birthday party. Headlined by Bruce Springsteen, Dave Matthews, and others, the event raised almost $1 million for Seeger's Clearwater organization. Nershi and Arlo Guthrie led the sold-out crowd through Woodie Guthrie's "Worried Man Blues," as well as some other crowd faves.
